Concentrator Maintenance

You should always operate the
concentrator in a well-ventilated area. Ventilators need to have
fresh, clean air to operate properly.

If you place them in a closet or
small room, or Motor Home please remember to
keep a windows cracked open.

Most concentrators require that
you wash your filters Monthly and replace them
yearly.

Your concentrator should
have its filters and purity levels of the concentrator examined
according to the manufactures guide lines . This can be done by your
oxygen provider. When you
purchase your concentrator try to get one with an
oxygen-sensor device. This will help you monitors the purity level of
oxygen being produced by your concentrator . If the purity
level falls it will warn you . If your machine has this
warming device, you will see a lights on the face of your concentrator
and you will get a warning sound. If your concentrator does
not have a Oxygen sensor built in it is Very important to have your
concentrator tested for its oxygen purity every three months.
